Samsung Galaxy S23 FE

This phone is getting a lot of attention due to its specs and at the proce offered.

I have purchased this phone for 35k, and you should keep in mind some points when buying this phone.

Its not for everyone, the size is just right at 6.4 inches, the thickness and bezels may bother you a but pixel 7a is also having same bezels. The actual display quality is just amazing. Punchy colors, good brightness etc.

Inhand feel and glass are awesome and premium at this price.

Now camera is respective, with good colors and dynamic rnge but sometime it lacks details when you zoom, but overall better than many, even better than some previous generations flagships. Video at 8k and 4k 60 are stable.

Performance is fine, updates have make this phone even more refined smooth and better, overall great experience and fluid touch. Games are running at 60 fps and mostly at medium to high, no major frame drop zero stutters. But if you push it, it will faint and struggle overall above average.

Now heating, yes there is heating keep two things in mind, the phone heats occasionally and hevy tasks also heat but cools down easily nd once optimised it works fine, 5g, location, heavy games, make it heat more. Also putdoor in sunlight make it warm 4k recording make it warm. But keeps working.

Battery is okay, 4 to 5 hour of sot with medium usage. 120 hz display drains it. For 6 hour sot i have turned off 5g and switche to 60hz refresh rate. Heating also reduced and battery drain also improved.

Haptics are flagship grade. Call quality if good, brightness is great.

Overall very good phone if you keep your expectations right.

It’s an excellent phone with great display, performance, camera. It ticks almost all the boxes.
I faced heating issues for first 2 days while updates where happening.

Battery life. First 2 days, it was not even lasting one day, now it improved and lasting one day but barely

Overall My Experience was Ok with these Samsung S23 FE mobile

Pros:
Design: I love the design of the mobile Glass back and Alliminium sides, Mint color was super attractive and good In hand feeling.

Camera: Camera was Awesome, 8K video option from Back Camera and 4K option for Front Camera and Colors and tones are Natural.

Samsung UI: In my personal experience on Android mobiles Samsung One UI and Oneplus Oxygen UI’s are the best. You can get Samsung AI experience in One UI 6.1 version.

Cons:
Display: The only con on the display was its bezels, apart from that everything fine. We can’t name Samsung Amoled display which is one of the best in the market

Performance: The Samsung S23 FE coming with Exynos processor which is mostly desiged for Camera Performance, It can handle high end games but mobile will get overheated while playing any games over Mobile network for more time and mobile will get heated and lagged while using Camera for long period.

RAM and Storage: The RAM Management was worst, It can’t even save an Application for even 10 mins in background.

Battery: Battery was one of drawback in Samsung S series, Don’t know why Samsung didn’t concentrate on Battery for their Flagship series mobiles. You will get hardly 6 to 7 hours on medium usage.

Finally My suggestion was, don’t buy this mobile even if you got it under 30 or 25K price range, Better go with SAMSUNG A Series mobiles [which will cover Flagship Camera Experience, better Battery backup, Design, Water Resistant, Android Updates] exept performance.

The camera side is super ok but battery performance is very bad im charging this mobile twice daily,mobile heating is one oth major problem in this mobile you can’t bear that heat due to back side glass,if you use glash its also get heated within a few minutes,design is ok,touch screen is very much adaptive,display is also good.if samsung overcome these above issues then it will be the best phone for ever otherwise its waste of money as per my opinion.

Battery last Max a day with moderate use. Rest is best.

Overall phone is good for normal use but there’s heating issue if you use it for long time

This mobile device is experiencing an elevated temperature, reaching approximately 44 degrees Celsius, even with limited usage, such as watching a five-minute video. Regrettably, there appears to be a lack of adequate support from Flipkart in addressing this issue. Consequently, I can not recommend this product based on the aforementioned concerns.

1.Very Vibrant Amoled Display, just like Apple. 1400nits display is enough for daylight.
2. Camera is just Awesome and Innovative. 12MP camera is super useful and takes beautiful potraits just like apple iphone.
3.Gives you Premium Feel in hand on this price range.
4.Outstanding Display with Gorilla Glass 5 Protection on both sides
5.Battery can last upto 1day in moderate use.
6.Switching between apps is super easy and without any lags.
6.Bluetooth , wifi connectivity is very fast.

Cons:
1. Heating issue while you use for long.
2. While you use power saving mode it the FPS got lower and i have experienced a little bit of lag.
3.Selfie Camera need to be improve.

Display is so bright in day light battery performance is average fingerprint not working properly after a tempered glass .

First Thing to Note: I am not a regular SAMSUNG user. This is my first SAMSUNG phone !

Its been almost a week since I am using this phone now and I have been digging into every bit of it.
Without wasting any more time. Here’s the PRO’s and CON’s

PRO’s

I bought this phone under 44K. So what do you get after spending so much ?

1. I have hardly seen any phone in the market which provides 4 Years of OS updates +1 year of security update. You get total 5 Years of update with this.

2. IP68 rating. I have tried searching for phones with this flagship feature under 44K but didn’t find any.

3. No gimmick camera’s. You get 3 lenses 50 MP Main, 12 MP ultrawide, 8 MP 3x optical which captures clear image up to 10x digital zoom after that you will see the image getting blurry. Max you can zoom is 30x. Selfie camera is 10 MP. Don’t compare camera basis on megapixels. It all depends on processing.

One might say that Realme 12 pro+ has 120x zoom periscope lens under 25k but that is the only usable camera lens in that phone. Other lenses are not up to the mark. It feels like Realme invested all the money on that one periscope lens. We don’t always capture zoomed pictures. If I am buying a good camera phone I would expect that all the lenses are equally competitive and produce quality images.

I am impressed with all the 3 lenses SAMSUNG has provided in this phone. It produces clear images. If you do not like vibrant color photos we have an option to disable the scene optimizer. I have noticed it captures more realistic colors. All the 3 camera sensors on this phone are from SAMSUNG. If you need more details google it.

Video: You can record 4K from Selfie camera and up to 8K from rear camera. Again a Flagship spec. You might not practically always record in 8K but we do have 4K OR Full HD. Stabilization in Video is awesome. I would say photos are better compare to video.

4. In hand feel: This depends on person to person. For me slight thicker phones are better than slim phone. My previous phone was iqoo7. Larger in screen size but slimmer. Trust me I never dared to use that without cover in day to day life. Slimer phones are attractive in looks but can slip from hands easily.
Holding this phone even without cover feels confident.

5.We get wireless charging if that is something you prefer. I don’t use it.

6.Dual speakers support with Dolby audio. Display peak brightness is 1450 nits. Easily visible in sunlight. There are some brands which advertise peak nits as 2400. That’s a gimmick. In actual practical experience they don’t compare anywhere near S23 FE. Check you tube videos related if you need more info on peak brightness. Display can go up to 120 Hz.

7. Gorilla Glass 5 protection with Aluminum frame. Again a flagship experience. You hardly get a metal frame in this segment. Maybe we will get more in the future from other brands as well.

8. One UI 6.0. Has a lot of features packed. Overall I liked it but not the best in the market. There are some preinstalled SAMSUNG apps which you can uninstall. If they can’t be uninstalled we get an option to disable the them permanently. Search feature in One UI is amazing. It can search every bit of settings from app drawer. Has color pallet feature. You can customize you lock screen. some good SAMSUNG widgets.

Con’s:

The biggest problem on this device is the 4500 mah battery. I really feel SAMSUNG should have provided at least 5000 mah. With 120 Hz refresh rate on I get hardly 4 hrs of screentime

To overcome this I have been using this phone at 60 hz and light performance profile enabled which slightly underclocks the device. It’s ok for me as I am a normal average user.

I get 6 hrs of SOT with 5 % battery still remaining. So good for me. I didn’t activate power saving mode while testing this. So maybe it can last for more 30 – 40 minutes.

If you are a heavy user this phone is not for you. Gaming works fine but battery will drain faster.

Its a good one.
1. Display is great
2. Processor meets expectations.
3. Battery is weak. Need to charge twice a day. Not for gamers
4. Heating issues are there.

I recently used Samsung S23 Fe. Phone is decent but problem is battery consumption and too much Heating. When I contacted to Samsung costumer care they told me Now it is new phone and update a software and all data transfer to new phone that’s by it is heat and consume more battery Still now it’s 7 day but problem is same. I visited Samsung store but they have not given satisfactory answer. I suggest all of you if you plan to buy the samsung S23 FE 23 don’t by.

Phone is just a week old and I facing battery backup and heating issue. And Samsung is not at all interested in fixing the issue

Its been 2 weeks since i m using it. It has secere heat issues. Even for moderate usage the battery stays for 4 – 5 hrs only. Also, now my new phone hangs. Its a worst choice to purchase it for this much money. Camera is just ok.

The scrap, which were laying on their table since long has been put in a form factor of a phone with good built and awesome display with less ppi(compared to what apple is offering at this price point, 460ppi), and the price they decided to sell it at 🥱

Do not buy this product, my suggestion will be to go for Iphone 14 in/at sale
